At approximately 19 degrees this evening, I was forced to put air in all 4 tires at the pump station. Once I managed to get back in the car, my hands were frozen cold like a freezer-burned chicken at the A&P.
“I need to rent a husband” I said to my mom while trying to warm up.
Yes, I am capable of doing it. But I don’t want to because I have a million other things to do like driving home, parking the car (which is not an easy task living in the city), bringing in the grocery items, putting away the grocery items, taking out the recycling items, prepare dinner, entertain child while waiting for dinner, cleaning up, getting child ready for bed (which consists of settling down an over-energized toddler, undressing, running bath, giving bath, brushing teeth, combing hair, lotioning, reading story, talking and clean up), then coming back downstairs to clean up, wash dishes, prepare lunches for the next day, check phone msgs, check emails. Oh and by the way……RUN a business!
All this must happen in the span of 2 hours! Yeah…
So anyone thinking of a Rent-A-Hubby business. The demand is out there.
